Where Did Cynthia Go This Past Weekend?
Well this past weekend I was in Olive Branch, MS visiting my brother and we celebrated mom’s birthday. My family from Mississippi came and spent the weekend also. We were so happy to get my mom and Aunt together (the last two sisters left all 7 of their brothers have passed away). We had a ball.
Then on Sunday I hooked up with Ms. Carolyn, who I call 55/57 Girls cause her and Ms. Mary be burning up the road from Tennessee/Mississippi to Chicago, and she took me to Unique Steppers of Memphis set at the Embassy Suites with DJs Slew and PT (Pretty Tammy) tag teaming the box. DJ Slew mouth flew open when I came through the door cause I told them not to tell him I was coming.. too funny. Greg Dixon founder of the group and emcee cool people. Thank you all for your hospitality. I haven’t danced like that in a long time. Ladies, that Southern Hospitality was in full effect. The men danced with everyone. Great seeing and meeting meeting everyone. Hope to visit again soon and party with you all.
That was my weekend.
