Where Did Cynthia Go Last Weekend?
Well not too much Stepping. Just hung out. I wanted to mention to you all about another new Sports Bar that opened up about two months ago call Maxey’s Sports Bar and Grill. It is east of The R Lounge on 183rd near Kedzie. Its nice and would be cool for an afterwork set. Nothing big. They have a pool table in the back and they sell food. I'm just mentioning it because I went there and it was nice also just in case someone wanted to check it out for themselves.
Saturday was with my parents then stopped by Smittys and that was all.
Sunday I went to Ophelia’s for Snoop and Crew weekly day set with DJ Mellow Khris. Saw some people who I haven’t seen in years. That place was packed. Snoop, thanks for the hospitality. Left there and went to the Elks Lodge for Fulson Cool Music (my former group) and Superb Herb’s set celebrating the Lovely Lady Tina’s birthday. DJs Larry Fulson and Herb. It was great seeing my former group members and everyone. Oh and it was especially great to see Larry and Tina’s moms. Those ladies still support their son and daughter. Beautiful. They packed that room. Left there and went to The R Lounge for Steppin Sundays with DJs Cross, J Boogie and Flyy Diva. It was packed also. I forgot a lot of people had Monday off for Veterans Day. That was my last Stop for the weekend.
