Didn't go anywhere again this past weekend. Still taking care of the family matters.

Cynt's 2 Cents
I’ve noticed there are three Steppers Balls/Conventions happening the same weekend, with two celebrating Martin Luther King. With the economy being what it is, I'm wondering —will one of these events take a loss?
People are still traveling to Steppin events, but not every weekend. Travel is expensive, and many Steppers are picking and choosing. When several similar events happen at the same time, it spreads the crowd.
I also think it’s worth asking if these weekends are offering more than just Steppin. Variety and community matter.
Maybe some promoters should consider hosting their big weekends every other year and focus on monthly events in their own cities to build their local Steppin community.
I’m not talking about established legacy weekends like Rodney Mack’s White Party, GDI's Heritage Ball, or Majestic Gents World's Largest Steppers Contest Weekend - the are established and have been around for a long time.
I’m not criticizing—just sharing a thought. That’s my Two Cents.
